Through the Ages: Dress Code-Runway Show Fundraiser

As a part of its 125th anniversary celebrations, The Berkeley Educational Society, is proud to host ‘DRESS CODE Runway Show’, a Tea, Hat, and Fashion show fundraiser on June 11, 2023.

Celebrating Bermuda’s Fashion Culture ‘Through the Ages’

Doors open at 2:30pm with a Bubbly Bar on the Patio (cash only)

The show will begin at 3:30pm SHARP, with an Afternoon Tea Sponsored by the Brown-Darrell Clinic in honour of Helene Darrell Brown, Class of 1940. During the tea, party goers will be serenaded with entertainment featuring an array of local talent, including singers, dancers, and instrumentalists.

The Hat Show is a nod to Bermuda’s Hat Culture, where in bygone eras only the latest fashions were worn by attendees, ladies and gentleman both, to traditional social events like afternoon tea parties, post-church luncheons, late afternoon picnics. The hats on display are a selection of donations, supplied by Jazzy’s Boutique, and from personal collections.

The highlight of the day is the fashion show featuring 5 Bermudian and Berkeley Alumni Fashion Designers, who are prominent locally and internationally
